My first version was silver. Then I got yellow, then some kid traded me his blue/red version for a pair of crappy headphones. Best deal of my life. The latest version I had was sapphire but they really should have stopped making pokemon after the johto leagues.

I'm a freshman in college, and I still play blue version on my teal gameboy color :D I have like 133 of them...so close! I've been playing through yellow version again too. 

I also recently torrented the first six seasons...52 gigs of goodness. That's become a floor tradition..streaming old pokemon episodes to my xbox from my computer. College is awesome.

How many cards did you guys have? I have all mine at college with me. Minus a box full of extra crappy ones. I only really ever collected the first 250 though...

Let's all not forget the all forgotten Pokemon Pinball with the super epic rumble pack that took a AAA battery. Now that shit was cool as hell when that came out.

Still haven't gotten all the pokemon yet.. :l

Pokemon Yellow was still better. xd.

Only thing cool about collecting those cards was trying to get the shinies.

I still have all my pokemon cards, 1st edition original eng/jap set as well as others from when I was younger.  It's all put up in storage though wonder how much they'd be worth now.

Blue/Red versions was the shit, those never get old.  I don't really like all these new ones.  

Well I have: Blue, yellon, Silver, Crystal, Fire Red, Emerald, Pearl, Red Rescue Team...

My favorites are Blue, yellow and Crystal. Newer ones are somehow boring and... you know.

Edit: I hate the animation... but the games are excellent RPGs :P

@lust YELLLOOW OMG OMG OMG,there was no running or BIUKING but the pika was like KCIKCASSSSSSS so yellow stays my favorite, altho black&white are pretty cool lust has the right idear BLAK DNA YELLOW~!

This is bloody amazing. Creepy, but amazing. I haven't seen the newer versions on pokemon cause I just stopped buying them but damn, just damn. That last one is funny/creepy/scary/weird.. Shit, am I gonna turn into a pokemon?! o.o

I actually caught a Yamask. They aren't very powerful, but they can take hits like a champion. And they have a massive amount of HP. They're also the first ghosts you encounter in the game, so they're pretty cool.

@Plasmastar: Pokemon Black/White have been awesome thus far. Probably the best thing about it is the new visual perspectives in fields and the fully animated Pokemon in battles. Also, the global trade encounter feature is a bit better than the old stinky GTS and must have friend code bs. Random trades with anyone. Nice story line thus far (meaning better than the previous versions). Enjoy.

btw: the gold/silver remakes for DS... loved that and long overdue for that version's release. :P

I use to be a huge Pokemon fan, be lately I been to busy with life. xD

I am going to buy the rest of the versions. I have all version up to platinum. I shall get the rest, and continue being a Pokee-MAN nerd. xD

Damn I've been dying to play Pokemon Black/White. I can't wait to see all these new legendaries.

Yeah I've been waiting to play White/Black too. Wonder if someone will rip it as a rom for PC use like the others or whatever. Hope so anyways.
