The Fate of the EO community...
What do you think will the EO community be in 2-3 years?
And don't say it'll be dead, because it's been a long time since we all disconnect and reconnect from each other. And look at it now, we made a sub-community trying to remake it/make it better.
On another note, if this topic is highly discussed, I'm probably going to make a novel out of it or something. :P

I say it will grow alot and than it will highly drop when there is to many servers made there will be to many servers to pick from so one will be very popular and people will want to crash it get rid of it ect so there server can be number
Or
There will be so much servers there will less people on each server they just play there own.

Private server wise, I figure someone who knows what their doing will end up creating a successor to EOserv that's far more reliable, with a client side, therefore pretty much an open source Isometric engine(or atleast I hope).
EO Main, is already gone, so no real need to talk about it.

Honestly, I think there wont be one, the community is decreasing slowly everyday. Less and less players login and play servers now. ---

Re: The Fate of the EO community...
Servers and owners over time usually swap in and out, whilst leaving and then returning and using their previous experiences to start again or pick up where they left off. A lot of people do this, and some don't come back, whilst new people join in and start learning from the beginning. So
eventually, we'll have experienced individuals and possibly teams of long term developers and users. There will be more or less servers, it doesn't really matter because older projects just get better whilst newer ones start with updated stuff. The majority of the servers that die off are unpopular
ones anyway.
