right now im being hit over and over just like this. im uploading footage of whats happinig. IP 62.194.122.226 keeps starting to create accounts all are sequences of numbers. 13025     80508      10746      62297 

the only full number sequence I got was 616282227.

My cameras a peice of crap so im having trouble uploading

and apperently its a bot because its not smart enough to switch ports.

IP look up i get this

We all know who that is xD! No its not me >_>

LOL i just got this like 5 min looked it up and was gonna post on forums also http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/62.194.122.226            thats ur checker and also i found a temp fix for it not posting on forums though

See if their ISP cares to respond to complaints. ;)

Thought of calling my lawyer but kinda pointless due to not in usa,i am not sure how far there law extends.

You shouldn't cause that would only contain some rotten chips.
If you're applying to the fact that your server gets attacked means you basically care for shit like this.
I suggest to ignore it and just make the best out of it. What else can you do?

yeah, sorry that might be my ip. i was testing a new bot that is listening to sln. if it crashed your server you should take a look in account creation with long Email & computer name and add a limit to it.

well, you should be happy you can now finnaly fix it. I actually only used it on some servers to see how many servers had this bug and now i posted the fix for it. I'm not going to do this all day don't worry it was just a test and it is over now.

For time being i recommend everyone use different ports from what i understand the bot is attacking 8078 with a list of ip's,pretty much everyones ip is on sln i have been using a different port for a week had no issues on my main server i throw test on for 5 min and server gets killed.Although who ever controls bot im sure will change ports and ip's to once again attack us.Only way i see a fix with this is to take numbers out of account creation (via block 1-9 in begining char account creation)

Which means people that created an account with numbers in it will be blocked.
