It's like Wild West. I'm only going to explain the online play, because the storymode i believe sucks.
Theres like private servers, and you connect to them to play a game.

Game types are:
Wild West Legends: You have to find the spot where you have to plant the dynamite, then protect it so the outlaws/lawmen can't defuse it. Destroy all that needs to be destroyed, and you win. Then there's the revenge game - Players teams are switched.
Manhunt: One man on a team is wanted, and the other team is trying to kill him. If you protect your wanted man for 1 minute, or you don't kill the wanted man in a minute, the team whos wanted man was on gets the point
Posse: Kill everyone from the other team
Wanted: One man is wanted and everyone else is trying to kill him. You can only kill the wanted man, but if you're wanted you can kill whoever.
Shootout: Kill everyone, as their is no teams.
Maps you can play on:
Nogales, Burnsides bridge, stinking springs, magnificent, and taos pueblo - That's i think
You can purchase a map pack for $10 to get 4 more maps:
Elmira Prison Camp, Vulture Mine, Fort Smith, Little Bighorn
I like the map pack the best because these are the most interesting
You can play with characters like:
Hombre(what i use): Two sawed-off shotguns
Gunsmith: Hybrid gun and a pistol
Spy: Dynamite(for throwing) and ladies gun
Veteran: Most powerful rifle
Sniper: Sniper gun, but it's kinda weak so you have to shoot the head.
