Keep it up... I wonder what is he going to do... "Copyrighted" HAH... Lookout, he might sue you! :O Being sarcastic here...
Anyway. If you have used that name for 2 years, then by all means, use it in the future...

It's called a trademark, and if they could prove they were using it first they could probably claim infringement, but I'm not sure how far that would go considering it was unregistered, used for such a short amount of time and hardly notable.

This. Copyright has nothing to do with it, so i'd be inclined to think this person has very little understanding of the legal system. Considering it was an unregistered trademark, they would have to provide definitive proof of prior artwork before a court to prove their case, usually something more
than just a few screenshots or word documents since these are incredibly easy to forge.
It could also be argued that the name "Endless Nights" could itself be infringing on the trademark "Endless Online" due to the close similarities and the fact both are online multiplayer games. It's not something they would want to be taking into a court of law as it would likely have adverse
effects on them too.
Personally, I don't think they can do anything. It's your call though.

Insomniac, no offence bro but you have not had that server name for the 2 years that you've been developing here. Endless Nights was owned by Cassis as far as I'm aware. I went to find him recently, saw E.NIGHTS on the SLN list, and it was a bunch of totally different people. He had that name
for a long time, over a year. Why don't you just give it to him? It's not like it's original or anything and you could do way better IMHO.

Re: What would you do
Well ive had it up for over a year not quite 2 but somewhere in between, and truthfully I never once seen a endless nights on the sln! No sweat of my back im fair just a few minor edits to my server website and client and back in the game.
So simple fix, cassis E.nights is yours no worries!
Thanks klutz for the info on e.nights and everyone else for their responses.
Ive searched pretty deep looking for this trademark/ server name E.NIGHTS! "nothing pops up except my website,eoserv::sln with my serv name, hotels but nothing abouttheir server. I need to know their actual server name!
What was their actual server name?

Re: What would you do
just be carefull... Because DUC andno-ip you can view all your old IP's so ask him to provide evidence of how long ago it was used.
But besides all that, He's probebly just a kid, and doesn't know the first thing about ''how to'' claim against you.
Wouldn't worry too much.
