| ![]() I have been using X-chat 2... Also I sometimes use opera's own IRC client. But what client you people prefer? I prefer small and light and pretty much basic/boring stylish clients. --- Eoserv classes: Forum ghost, test player, ex-server owner, TOP 50, mapper & an oldbie

| ![]() mIRC sucks. Seriously, way to overcomplicate something as simple as IRC. Currently running X-Chat Aqua for Mac OS X v0.17.0. It's now unsupported, which is a shame (being the last truly versatile IRC client for Mac OS that doesn't need to be run from a Terminal). --- EOSERV.net Academy Of Trolls, Satirists & Sarcastics 5.5 Years Former Site Administrator / Moderation Team / Member (Retired)

| ![]() I don't like to use any IRC.
|
| ![]() On Mac I recommend LimeChat. On Windows I recommend ThrashIRC. Limechat is free, with donation nag. ThrashIRC is ten dollars.

| ![]() For some reason, every IRC client I've ever used disconnects me after about 3 minutes of inactivity, so I decided to set up my own IRC proxy server on my computer to keep a constant connection, and to do that I use Quassel's IRC client/server. --- May he now rest under aegis of mirage - As the sands slowly turn to Elysian fields
