I was watching the show "My Strange Addiction" on TLC the other day and I noticed that while some people on the show had actual addictions, like one lady who was addicted to eating toilet paper, other people didn't actually have addictions per-say. They had something more along the lines of a strange habit or quirk, such-as the lady that had to sleep with her blow-dryer on and in her bed.

This got me thinking, while some may be more strange than others, doesn't everyone have some kind or weird habit or quirk? It seems like that is something that psychologists are interested in, why people do the weird things that they do and what their reasonings are for doing them.

I thought it would be interesting for people to post their strange addictions, habits, OCD moments, or quirks - I will go first.

- When I eat I cannot have any food touch one another, not sure why but if it happens I cannot eat it.  But yet when I order fast food such as McDonalds I am fine with it, go figure.

- Sometimes randomly out of nowhere I lick my upper and/or bottom lip until it is so raw it burns, I realize I am doing it but still continue to do so.

Have a lot more but I'll save them for another time.  Not the most craziest habits but you get the idea. 

I crack my joints all the time. When I was younger, I had this tick with my neck where I would try to keep my muscles/skin still. I also have other OCD habits, mostly organizing shit and spelling out words in my head.

Every so often when i'm out walking i will get to my destination and just have to walk home backwards... No clue why, it just annoys me if i don't do it.

And i'm addicted to raw flesh... meat flesh and fish flesh... i literally cannot get enough of the shit.

whenever i eat anything i tend to not finish it, i leave one bite. whether its a hamburger or a taco ill leave one bite.

In school, I can;t stand people in front of me putting their arm on my desk. It drives me crazy for no reason. :/

No offense, but it's kind of normal. Also, post pics of your sis, we can compare erections later.

CRACKED XD! hmmm... I tend to sit on the computer... I mean, I raise my feet on the chair and hands over knees...

hard to explain... I do not put my feet on the floor... But, yeah, this happens without even thinking it much...

I can't listen to a song without it having a music video.

I kinda have an ocd about other peoples stuff, like when i go to my girlfriends house, ill offer to clean her room. And If possible, i like to have thing symmetrical.

It's kinda weird but when I smoke a cig its fine but when others smoke around me i can;t stand the smell  but when i smoke it dont bother me also I pop my knuckles as often as I can and also my neck, back, knees, wrist, and ankles

I've readed all you're OCD's through :P But I do still think that I have the worst ones. I have it like whenever i touch something I go like " I need to wash my hands now " <-- Except for my computer. I can touch it without washing my hands. Then if i touch my door by an accident. I need to wash my hands before I can go any further with my computer or anything else valueable of mine. iPod, Computer, Nintendo, Xbox, Ps3, Books.

Also when we have to eat, I must be ensured that the Fork, Knife, Plate & Glass. Is 100% Clean, even rust. 100% Clean and if its not im eating anything that day. Happens rarely tho cus my mom have bought a new diswasher xD.

Third is im stamping in the ground with my feets all the time. I have to do it or I get depressed. Gets in bad moods etc. Mad, Sad, Weird..

Now a fucked up one. If I walk on the streets and I see a bush, i have to walk left for it. No matter if you cant. I'm just walking through the bush then. I will have to >.<

There's some strange people here eh? :D

I recheck almost everything I do, several or more times, compulsively. If I talk to somebody, I may ask them if they understood and go over the conversation multiple times. If I'm going out I check over and over to make sure I have everything I need, and constantly feel like I forgot something so I'll check again and again. If I post a message on a website, I will check the message several times and 9/10 I will edit the message at least once. Those are just a few examples. I get extremely irritable if I can't recheck something.
I'm not an obsessive cleaner, but when I do, it is thorough.

This is about as much as I wish to share lol.
