I can share the rumors that go by; I don't know which ones are true and which aren't. Apparently Jimmyee found a bug to stop anyone from logging onto the servers. The only way to fix it was to restart the server. I supposedly heard that Vult-r was restarting the servers every Saturday/Sunday night but he finally stopped doing it. He hasn't been heard from since his email has been taken by Plasmastar/Jimmyee.

Thats about what ive heard. For a while though you could still log on to you account, you just couldnt log in. Now it wont even connect to the server. So i guess jimmyee found a way to take it down completely Or vault took it down D=

Since both the main server and the phpBB installation are inoperable, it's more than likely the root cause of the issue resides within the MySQL server. The remaining pages on the site are standard HTML and have no dependence on a backend database which adds credibility to this theory.

In this case I wouldn't be suggesting this is the doing of Jimmyee or anyone else at this stage. MySQL servers, like any other type of server, can encounter problems over their serviceable lifespan. Once more information emerges we can begin to piece together the situation and status (in addition to formulating a plan of action should an EOSERV-based server be forced to step up into the role at any given moment).

If anyone has any news or updates to contribute then please do so.

I noticed that every database has been cleared. This means that um... eo main is wiped out o_o'. We will see.

yeah i went to see if this was true and if you go to the main website check top 100 players 0 players. :/

i hope they wipe out everything cuz some name are taken and  no one uses it they just take the name and dont play anymore...

Or like SBlord said, MySQL server is down, so how you people think that site can read all these data? Magically from the database which is offline? That is what I believe... Try forums ;)

Hmmm thats cool Im kinda excited now. =D. If you look at the site the top players/ Players online and top guilds are back to updating. I think vault wiped the server because it doesnt show the top guilds or the top players. But i guess it could also be a million other reasonsthere not there.  Like sblord said  "Only time will tell" And since the last major update to the game was 08-18-07 I would say one is due xD.
