| ![]() Well I have been using wampserver for about 2 years. It was working fine but recently it stopped working. I uninstalled it and installed a clean new version but now it says ''1 out of 2 services started - server offline". I checked in services.msc and saw wampapache was not running so i tried to start it but it won't start. And no I don't use/have skype if u think port 80 is used by Skype. Can some one help me how to put WAMPapache on? Thanks,

| ![]() Start the process manually. --- Love you too.

| ![]() Performance is better when you manually install Apache, PHP, & Mysql. This is a good guide that has never failed me. --- ¨°º¤ø„º°¨ Exile Studios ¨°º„ø¤º°¨

| ![]() It should be known that the apache service and the wampapache service will conflict each other. You should set the service for wampapache to "automatic". If it has failed then there is another program/service you have installed that is causing a conflict. When posting that original WebCP guide from nearly 2 years ago, I selected the most simple to use webserver/apache program available to help users set up their PC hosted web sites. If you are having a service conflict, it is likely that installing another copy of an almost identical service will
also have this conflict. Diagnostically, you should use MSCONFIG, click the Services tab, hide all Microsoft services, and start disabling unnecessary program services you may have installed. Through process of elimination you may find the culprit that is giving you this service conflict and
preventing the wampapache service from starting normally.

| ![]() Oh nice nice, I see FORUM2 has some sweet little bugs. Better get these fixed, the wrong people would make quick abuse of things like this. Or just go back to the prior forum revision, before using something that's obviously full of holes. Hi Sausage :D --- Web developer, currently looking for graphic artists / designers. |
