I think he's trying to help more than anything. He's not trying to hide it and abuse the power just so he can use it at his expense. He showed what he did, and even how to fix it. It's a hell of a lot better than having someone spam it constantly causing a lot of servers to be down. And reading
this I saw comments like 'jimmyee is bad', 'jimmyee is good', 'BU is bad', 'BU is good'. You sound like my 8 year old nephew who everytime he watches a movie/video game asks who is the bad guy? There is a mixture of both in all of us. If you were a victim of this attack, then don't whine at him,
fix the problem, and get over it. If the players like the server enough(which shows for BU & FE), then they'll come back.

See, the problem here is that you all use the same software. Even elevation's precious "Fallen Evolution" uses the same software (heavily modified, albeit) to run his joke of a server. What none of you realize is that if anyone really wanted to mess with other servers, there would really only
ever be one or two on at a time that had more than 5 playing members, because every other one is killed by the competition.
Using that i can safely say: Everything is personal just to get a rise out of someone because they know they can get it. Stop reacting, just continue putting your server back up, eventually they'll get bored of you.

For what it's worth, hacking is defined as "using a computer to gain unauthorised access to data in a system". This isn't hacking. DDoS attacks aren't hacking. They're brute force attacks, but hacking is a completely different thing altogether.

I think yes. Any server with such a degree of mismanagement on the behalf of its staff, its representatives and its users is absolutely destined to fail. You're just prolonging the inevitable. Bones Underground, Fallen Evolution and most of the major contenders so far don't need to fight with
each other so much as they need to sort out their own problems first.
Jimmyee has pointed out what needs to be patched. Maybe now it's something we can actively work on and improve on with the EOSERV source code.
