1. Make something unique, something which isn't the regular same stuff like usually server have. Make it look like you have spend time on it. Make own maps, a story maybe, client is good way too to personalize your server.
2. Make your server interesting, make sure that your server isn't too hard or too easy, also make sure that people have many things to do, like quests or killing some bosses and monsters and many places to visit and also make sure that server is balanced which means that when you are at lvl 10, you
do not find it too hard to level or get items. And when or when are 55 level, make sure that monsters gives right amount of exp/money/items what fits the level, if you get stuff/money too easily, you might get bored fastly but if you find it hard to get anything at all, then you might need raise
drop rate of item or something.
Unique servers are more attractive than "Admin servers" or "Main like". They might by hotshots like few days but thats it.
