Lets face the facts here. I couldn't give two shits about ratings or being banned at the moment, but Sausage has always had a shitty attitude toward people in my opinion. This in turn was enough to have this place tainted from the start, this is kind of like 4chan but with an objective to keepinnocents here, getting teased and taunted all the more. I know it won't be easy at all, but if I find that it could prove a good ground for people to be creative and friendly, I may just go ahead with this. I'm not making any promises though.

Fair Luck if You plan on going through with it, and I do agree with you on Sausages outlook and general disposition towards people; but Look at it from his point of view: He tried to make way for people to create private servers, people have taken his software and called it his own, People have abused both his forums with spam and ignorance (Suave, lol) and Raped the Private server concept by waging wars on SLN. This wasn't Sausages vision, this was the wretched outcome of trolls and pricks alike. a New forum would most likely be invaded by these pricks, but as you said moderation would be done right.

P.S. Consider this my application as moderator in the event that you do go through with this, "If" you choose to take this project, I would also like to help you if you don't think I would get in your way or slow you down.

I already said I'm not making any promises. And with all due respect for Sausage, I understand his attitude in some ways, but that doesn't for a single second mean that I agree with it.
He gave people the opportunity to be creative with his server source and collaborate, in which only one of those have worked out.

Certain people seem to think that because this place is losing interest, it's ok to kick it while it's down and dis-encourage the remainders of the community from continuing. Even new users get a kick in the face before they've so much as scratched the surface.

I know for sure that a lot of people including myself respect and appreciate what was given to us. And there is good will and intent from many of the users here, who still have the drive to help people with their problems. So in some ways there isn't really much of a problem, but if Sausage decides that these forums are no longer needed, do you think he could give a shit if 10-20 people wanted it to stay open? In past times this place was alive with hundreds of users everyday, compared to that the remaining people have no worth to him at all.

It would really suck to see this place disappear because of the lack of interest.

I have no problem with you guys making your own communities and all, but after you've done it as long as the eohax team has, you'd understand exactly why we do the things we do.

Must be tiring huh. Well I'll have you know I haven't been on the eo scene for long at all compared to the eohax team. I don't know if I have as much patience as you guys but I just can't sit and watch this.. decay..

Well it's good to be optimistic and whatnot, but keep in mind we've been doing this since 2006. We've seen all the tricks in the book, and we've dealt with all sorts of people, which is why we don't have as much patience anymore.

You'd be amazed at how stupid some people are. *cough* suave *cough*
