I will do my best to find supporter. If i can get about 20 members, i will come back to the forum. ONLY 20 members.
... Sordie, seriously, I know that you are busy, but can you, atleast continue to develope seose?
| ![]() I don't know anything about this. but i hear stories that sordie lost the source stuff like that so... i don't think she can develope anymore.
| ![]() In my opinion, this is more selfish than anything. Sordie finally left and found a good spot in her life and she's happy, and you want her back? EO is a dead project in my opinion, and I don't think it's entirely good to spend your time on something that isn't going to be worth it in the end. Sordie still does visit IRC, and that is okay, but I think she finally got past her case of not getting enough sleep at night(it has a long-worded name, i forget it though). P.S: She lost the source to Seose a long time ago, that's why if you actually read through the Seose forums a little bit, you'd see how/why people moved to EOSERV. --- http://www.addipop.com

You can see how easy or hard it is then. Sordie released somewhat sources here for people to understand the basics/package handling etc of servers. So you could try and get something out of that. --- "Pineapples and shit."

| ![]() She LOST it. Can't you read? NOBODY HAS IT. --- Create your own destiny, don't let someone else do it for you.
| ![]() I asked about the "Create my own emulator guide", CANT YOU READ IT AND UNDERSTAND IT? ... Lol, I am currently working on Y!PP private server project right now XD, it is harder than making an EO one
| ![]() its called insomnia and you sound like your in love with sordie. "shes at a good place in her life".
| ![]() Sorry guys, but you're doing this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flogging_a_dead_horse for these reasons: https://eoserv.net/forum/topic/10617#post53403 Heh "Sordie-Speaky-Meta-Linky" =] Anyways, I was starting to become a nerd when all I ever wanted to be was a geek so I'm only really online on Sundays now and I only do a tiny bit of software development just to keep the wolf from the door. Sorry guys, I love you all but there comes a time when you must start putting your real life ahead of your online life. --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| ![]() Sordie posted: (28th Nov 2010 12:37 pm)I think more and more of the EOSERV staff are putting their real lives ahead of their online lives, and with good reason. Sordie has a family that takes top priority. I left high school last year, Sausage has just finished this year. Some of us have partners and other working commitments that we didn't have before. Even us veterans, the youngest of the initial team, are now going on to our twenties and it's understandable that a lot of us are now hoping to aim higher. If the work was profitable, maybe it would be worth it... but at the moment that's not the case. Sucks, I know. That's the way it works though. Not to say we don't/won't have some decent development efforts going on around here, but they won't be the same efforts that we worked on in the past, so the chances of Seose coming back in any form (ignoring the fact the source code is gone) is
completely, 100% nil.
