I remember Elevation from when I was Recovery/Kodyt I never had a problem with him still don't he helped me on my 1st server gave me some tips he was a helpful dude, but I don't think giving him a "new chance" will change anything ppl have there views and always will its just how shit is, only way to change the views is by him bowing down accepting he can't win this fight and just letting shit roll of his back and maybe they will stop judging him who knows.

Its funny the topic reads "What did happen to eoserv" but it should read "Elevations friend or foe, good or bad?" lol.

I see the baby wants some attention. I suppose you argue you don't agree you fit the description I provided of you. Let me itemize these slowly so you can understand:

"Elevations is our local bad guy" : It is a well known fact that people that some like, and some hate. The award for the one member of the eoserv.net forums that can have so many people collectively to dislike him/her goes to you.

"He is a well-known egomanical douche" : Regardless of the matter at hand, you always believe you are right. Take for instance when you felt it was "ok" to fake player counts on the SLN (the SLN, or Server Link Network, was designed to provide "accurate" information about a private server to the community that visits eoserv.net). Not only did you believe it was "ok", but you continued to argue with the site owner (Sausage) that you should be allowed to misuse his service as you see fit. This (eoserv.net) is not a democracy (think of eoserv.net as Germany in the time of Hitler if it will make you feel better). I think that "well-known" and "egomanical" certainly apply here, although douche may have been out of place because those go somewhere that I can't say that you go (no need to dispute that, no one cares... really).

"He is our Hitler" : The reference to Adolf Hitler implied that you have your loyal followers, as well as an accumulated body of haters. I guess I should clear up that the metaphor was not intended to imply that I believe that "Elevations" is trying to live vicariously through the story of a German dictator by slaughtering those of the Jewish faith by the millions in an attempt to relive the Holcaust in a modern time.

"the more we condemn or condone his work, we will only ultimately benefit him" : This was directed at the more people are making topics about hating or liking Fallen Evolution, the more we see a "bumped" thread with no real point but "I <3 FE" and "F U FE".

"The best advice for anyone is to forget about him and his server. All turds eventually will pass" : Here, I advised that it is best to say nothing positive or negative about "Elevations" as it directly influences a thread to become interested in fueling an argumentative topic.

As far as Addison using your domain name to link to his flash page, you can thank him for getting your name out there by using your site. Rule 2.5 states "Do not post with the intention of only bringing visitors to your own websites/servers (advertising)." This essentially means that you cannot make posts that through whatever method and regardless of whatever implication can direct attention to your own webpage/server hompage/ server. While Addison's intent directed players to a non-eoserv flash game that had no linkings/ties to the parent domain nor is affiliated with the domain game server, the YouTube post (labeled "trailer", an urban term used for short "advertisement" that precede a motion picture) would clearly direct players to both the site and the server. This is no different than the eight topics I delete that advertised a site selling Christmas snow globes and no one was defending the spambot.

The fact that you pay $40 for adspace on this site per month entitles you to that verticle banner sitting to the right of this web page (you know the one that sometimes mistakely says things like "the top server" and "9000 happy meals sold"), however it does not imply that you can violate site rules,  forge SLN data, or purge the moderators of this forum because your definition of "unfair" is that you basically can't get by with the same things we wouldn't allow from others. If you make a post that is not in violation of the forum rules then good for you, but if you want to be the one posting ad links in a thread then you should know it will be removed. What would the eoserv.net forum look like if everyone that had a server or was making a server jumped up and started all spamming ads in the threads at once? EO main forums. Think of not allowing advertisements in threads a plus. You have an exclusive deal that your server is the only server with a real advertisement on this site. I would think your ad would be a lot more worthless if everyone were allowed to advertise in the forums.

Elevations, I am fair despite what you believe. I do not care if your site/server is successful or if it becomes a big pile of fail. Regarding your posts there is a line, you are either on one side of it or the other. If you don't agree with the rules ask Sausage to change them(won't happen) or learn to conform to them. I have wasted enough time with you, kthxbye.
