Reducing the file size on a .iso?
Just curious, does anyone know of a way to reduce the file size of a .iso?
i have an iso for a game i wish to install, but in order to get past the "please insert disk" errors, i obviously need to mount it to a disk.
But the problem being that my disks are only 4.7GB while the .iso file size is 5.9GB. I can rip a bunch of crap out of the .iso to reduce it to 5.3GB (all the numerous manuals in different languages and such)
But i still need it to be smaller.
Anyone able to help?

I'd rather not have to spend extra cash on new DVD's though.
Since im currently stuck paying for my own supply of food from 7 a.m till about 8 p.m each day. which in ireland is costing me about â¬25 per daily. And for someone who is unemployed, that burns up cash pretty quickly.
Are there no ways to simply reduce the size of the iso?

there are programs to compress the iso into cso (compressed iso) but the compression can mess up some games (but not always)

Hmm, thanks for that.
I saw stuff about cso files but i wasnt sure if it would still work after being compressed.
Im trying out daemon tools at the moment though.
