Well my last topic wasnt getting vry many views so i thought i would post my fav sword that i made 5th pixel or 4th ive ever made (sword) Plz critisize i wanna know what u think =D

dont recall you making this, this looks just like a zangatang or w.e from FE you just drew some wierd looking tie around the handel? and sum of the blade..

lol i did not steal from any server i drew this i swear. and if you dont beleve me how ami supposed to proove i did not record my self drawing it.....

Even if its stolen, all it is, is a basic shape with 2 gray lines down it.. theres no real detail, it doesn't even actually follow you're reference.

Nice sword Andrew, also.. Its a zanmato i believe skulled.. and only the Reference pic.. looks like FE's version.. his pixelled version looks nothing like it..

take a screen shot of your picture irl. kthanks with siggy has to look just like it or u stoll it k thanks & yes i aggre with matt its not detailed @ all its technically just a line with shading

That's not bad :)

The first thing I would do is smooth out the shading on the blade and adjust it's shapetomatchthe reference image. 

something like this:

edit:

didn't see the strip of white on the reference.

 

also note that on the reference the yellow thing passes the opposite side of the blade. if you think about it logicically in your pixel the yellow thing would get in the way of the bladeand youwould struggle to slice a rat in half. (seriously, those things are fast!)

U thought it was fine the way it was. But clearly you made it better. :)

U thought it was fine the way it was. But clearly you made it better. :)

That was the point,It was fine the way it was, I was showing him how to improve it so next time he knows how to make it look even better :)
