What is webcp? I've heard a lot of people talking about it and I just don't know what it does! From what i understand it's something that will let you create a website? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!11

It's basically a web-based control panel for EOSERV, letting players change their details, guild leaders manage their guilds and guardians add/remove bans; as well as providing players with information like the top players/guilds, and for game masters, account/character information.

is it only for eoserv? or can we use it for seose.. and if we can how can we set it up?

No, it interacts directly with the EOSERV database, and most of the features are infeasible to port to use Seose's flat-file database. You can use it to get the online player list, though.

so we can only do 1 of the like 5 things i was hoping we could do the top players :\ owell

Thanks sasuage :D I dont have eoserv because it's too hard to setup. For some odd reason when i open the port for MYSQL it doesnt work :( Sausage can you post a guide?

use a complied rev like lewis999 rev it use's sqlite which is much easyer to use if you don't know how to setup mysql

Why the hell are you complaining about Seose and WebCP? There is a lot more than 5 things that Seose can't do period, but I believe someone a while back wrote some php to make WebCP Seose compatible. Search...

I have tried that but I am a nub at this stuff, so can you tell me how to?

That was the first thing I ever really did in PHP. Not really a control panel, just spits out information from the seose files into some lists.

Using some of ethans code I also made a seose webcp style thing a long time ago. It showed online players, titles, guilds, top players and staff. If I can find the source, I'll post it on here.
