Drop/spawn questions about seose
Hey sordie, i no you said your not gonna let your souce out to anyone, but then when you make it so monsters can die. Can you make a program so we can change the drops of the monsters or have monsters in different locations? Because i sorda wanted to make certain items hard to get and i cant change
it if you password your sources.

You don't now, nor never will need to to recompile to do that. What kind of programmer would I be if I hardcoded in game settings? >_< All the setting will be available "outside" of the binary.

oh ok thnx...because i rem the eoserv uses the data in the code for the drops, and the spawn points. Also j/w will we still be able to change the shops item/costs and the skillmasters spells/requirments? Or is everything changable outside?

Well think about it. Its your server you can do what ever you want if you know how =P but you can always ask if you don't understand, which most people don't including me. Also you really don't need the sources if you can edit with out the binary.

No it doesn't. Just because you've added some badly written spawn/drop code that someone here has posted to your server doesn't mean that Sausage is going to do the same.
Seose and EOSERV currently, and always will load its data from external files.
