cause i just made a client and the writing is hard to see dew to the bright colors can it be patched in using eoaddons

I think it's an nice idea and maybe not to hard?

It would require being able to recode the client at will. Until someone releases a customizable client, or you build one yourself, it is impossible.

sordies eoaddons changes font why couldnt it change color

yeah.. it must be possible I think you don't have to recode the whole client as you can do alot with eoaddons

yes perhaps you could do that with EO addons.but they are resource extensive and cause client lag just like graphics encryption/compression.they are a quick fix and not a very good one at that.like Syran said the only real way to properly change chat text color would be to either :

1. de-compile the current EO v-28 client and edit it to your liking with the proper program to do so(which if this was simple it would have been done by now)
   
2. code your own client from scratch with the proper program to do so(we know many people have tried or are trying but have not completed there work)
   
3. wait for some one else to release a customizable client(that will be a long wait)
4. or lastly pay some one to make you a custom client(of which few to none of the people in this community have the cash to wave around for such a thing)

IMO, you've got a better chance of decompiling the current EO client than you have of completing a new one. It is possible, you just have to go through some extreme and somewhat unusual methods.

Well than it's still better to make it myself and no it's impossible to decompile it to get the real source again. if i make it myself it will make my code skills better and i'm not stealing anyone's coding work and that feels better to me.

well it should be if i can customize the font to be Comic Sans MS

It might be possible, and I am pretty sure sordie isn't working on anything anymore. The short answer is, no one here knows or is willing to tell you how to change the color. You are going to have to do it yourself.
