 how to edit seose news?
on seose how do u edit server news? in eoserv 4.0 there is a newst text file u can edit but in seose i cant find anything to edit it with

Nice update sordie, but i think he meant the white text at the top of the screen where it says
Welcome to Sordies Endless Online Server Emulator (Pre-Release 9) or whatever version they are on.
so we can make it say Welcome to GameName (Version)

That's probably never going to happen with Seose. Put your welcome messages in the MOTD/NEWS. The message from the server is the server identifying itself to the user.

I will probably allow it to say something like: Welcome to <server name>. Running Seose Version X.X In the future. But that's all. Welcome messages stay in the MOTD/NEWS.

i got my rl gf to play the game and that "crappy message" tells her i love her every time she plays :P
