I can't tell if you think I am being stupid or if you are joking. I meant, for maps that are like 100 x 100. It is really tedious to go over the whole map with a ground tile. So it would be nice if there was an option to cover the whole map with that tile instantly.


No he's serious. Right click on a ground tile(in the Pallette) and it will cover the whole map with that tile

*NOTE* If you have already gone over the map with a tile, IT WILL NOT CHANGE. The only thing that changes is the Base tile *NOTE*

Just tested R5. Works brilliantly.

The NPC editor is fantastic and flawless that i can see.

Tested, idk what you did, but I'm really impressed of the change in load times and memory usage, I don't have that problem anymore. Hope you don't mind I thought I'd paste an image of the first error I found :)


Using: clean eo-gfx and custom pubs.

I had the same issue when trying to use my pub files outta my server :). The problem is some where in your pub you have a npc with the gfx id of 255 which is a non existing graphic. Find it in your pub and correct it, that should solve the problem.

edit: for windows 7 users, if you have problems closing 'eomap3' when clicking the 'x' instead just right click the program group on the task bar and choose 'close all windows' 

edit: pretty much had to remove any custom gfx data from the npc pub file for it to work :/

Glad its working for you. :P The only thing I've really noticed is it can be a lil crash happy sometimes, but when it gets that way i just click each tab before doing anything when i first start it to let it load all the graphics its to use :D.

That's probably a pub problem because i haven't had that happen before xD. Every map I've opened has showed the npcs fine so I'm not sure although that's funny :P.

Yes it supports custom npc pubs & graphics as it loops every npc in the pub and loads from gfx021.egf based on the gfx id set on the npc in the pub :D.

My Npcs don't show up on the map. There invisible and set to non-attackable npc Every time.


Edit: LOL! When i put two crows two piggys came up... Akward. LOL

I found out that my server pubs were custom. So i changed them back to mains. But still the Npcs glitch my map

This is truely great i dont know why this isn't stickied (*cough* -points at sausage/a mod)

I have had no errors also to users don't use compressed gfx file or you'll get an error such as tile :21/1 error meaning in the graphics file gfx021.egf on bmp 1 can't be read (i think) and for :21/255 errors this means some were in your pub file there is an error with the npc graphic id being 255 probably the npc shaman go fix and yourdone! :)

Here is a some more stuff about the npc GUI

In Type:

12 is the npc not moving

In Time:

The direction that the npc is facing(Mostly used for not moving npcs)

0 = direction down
1 = direction left

2 = direction up

3 = direction right
