I got this to work with Windows 7 32 bit, it was a pub file problem that was giving me that error thanks for your help. I tried to use it on a windows 7 64 bit machine today but it wont work, has this been tested with 64-bit?


Not sure about it working on 64 bit as i currently only have 32 bit machines. I'm glad i could help you figure out the issue of getting it running on 32 bit though.

Dont worry about it Deathx I got it working it was an error on my part, I just needed to update my GFX card on the 64 bit machine and it works fine now. Very nice release by the way.

Do you know when or if you will be able to show names so we do not mix npc up? Example: Shop Bop 1,2,3, ETC. I am sorry, you have probably gotten this message more than a few times.

Norton Security Suite keeps deleting eomap_0.3.0_r6.exe when I try to open it. I've even set a firewall exception for it but it's saying suspicious activity detected in ... any help?? I've deleted it for now.

why in the world you have Norton? only thing norton do to me is nothing uninstall and it should work or disable norton somehow never used eversinced.

but i find AVG good

Signs and Shadows were things found long ago. Bart had those things working well before summer of 2010. Sausage never believed me when I told him over and over the sign data had to be in the .emf file. True thanks go to Rena for finding the sign data in the first place, and then Bart for his hard work on the "leaked" map editor. Honestly, the map editor should have been done ages ago and props to at least putting together a nearly complete version of the editor to the community. Bart and I have been very busy with our our projects which put EOMap on the back burner.

Yup yup well someone had to piece together and yeah Shadows were nothing more then the next layer on the gfx layers loading loop. Also someone messaged me last night while i was offline and notified me that your able to walk through signs and yeah that's probably true as its not placing a wall specwhere the sign is as well so I'll have to get around to fixing that this evening.

Edit - Nvm about fixing it this evening i believe i just fixed it and i already updated the download link to contain the new binary.

I'm playing around with r7 a bit, and would you believe it, the first map I tried to load produced an error. I can't remember what it said now, something along the lines of "error loading 00001.emf blah blah 219 | ". So I opened it in Rena's old editor and the first thing I changed was an 'east wall tile' with the ID 255, I changed it to 256 and as if by pure luck it fixed the map to work in r7. I could've been trying to figure that out for ages, well anyway it doesn't like the value 255, at least in the wall tiles anyway. Hope this helps and, maybe can be fixed.
