I finally got around to testing the latest release (Eo Map Editor 0.3.0 - Release 6 - 0.3.3).

The bug is fixed, the error log shows no existence of deleted chests and npc's. Good job =P

1. There's a lil info on the stuff that Elevations scraped up at the bottom of the first post where its always been.
2. Type is the same as Param in EOSEP - Map Editor and Time is the same as Range in Rena's map editor.

Hopefully that's enough for ya :).

Everytime i put something in the chest editor it doesnt spawn that.  Ill put Item 430 in the item id and itll spawn a magical hat?.  Anyone else know why or had this problem and knows how to fix it Let me know =)

Just asking, but how do i tell which shop npc is which? I needed to add shop bob 21 and 24 but thet all look the same :(   (any suggestions?)

I'm pretty sure i made it show the name of the npc and their npc id on the dialog that pops up after clicking to place the spawn. :o

I downloaded this today to see what it is like but I'm getting an error when I try and open it. I'm using windows 7 ultimate and the error message I'm getting is Invalid file / failed read/seek. I have the pubs and GFX files in the right place and I get this error when i open the program, not when trying to load or save maps. I'm getting the exact same error with r5 and with fresh pub and GFX files. Any idea what is causing this?

The only conclusion i can come to on that error which is immediately on start up is a corrupt pub file, as the only thing it is set to load on the starting of the program is the pub files.

If anyone has a problem opening eo map editor 3.0, the problem is most likely caused by net framework. Make sure you have net framework 3.5 sp1 installed, and uninstall any other versions of netframework before installing 3.5sp1.

That is entirely not true as this doesn't use the .net framework for anything. This uses c++ and opengl nothing to do with the .net framework which is commonly used in visual c++ and such... :P

I got this to work with Windows 7 32 bit, it was a pub file problem that was giving me that error thanks for your help. I tried to use it on a windows 7 64 bit machine today but it wont work, has this been tested with 64-bit?
