Weird :\ I didn't edit my pub files at all o.o. :( I was making a eo classic so no need to edit but maybe  who knows I'll try a diff pub file klut where did you get yours from?


I didn't get mine from anywhere. Unlike a lot of you leeches I made my own.

Well, sucks for you because if you use copied pubs, it's more likely that you won't get the desired results in eomap =)


Edit: I found a bug in eomap3. After deleting a chest spawn (right click) and saving, the error log in eoserv shows that those chests still exist in the same places:

[WRN] A chest spawn on map 1 points to a non-chest (Light Spear Lvl.1 x1 at 22x26)

Now this may not have an instant affect, but I'm sure this could pose an abusable exploit if done by the right person.

My point was, if one uses "copied pubs", they can't guarantee those pubs will be 100% working. Read my edit above =]

Thanks for pointing it out with adequate information. This will be corrected in r6 as i have already found and corrected it :P.

Screwed Up Method
Fixed Method

Enabling it to remove all chest spawn instances at that location instead of removing the first one it finds then exiting out of the loop :P.

I got a question about the new Release 5. My friend and I have the same problem. I asked if he used this program to edit his maps, he replied with a Yes. I don't know if its the program or Addison's rev he released. But I keep getting this error: [WRN] An NPC spawn on map 1 uses a non-existent NPC (#2 at 16x15) Would  you program cause this warning? I know it's just a warning, but it messed up our maps. Would you know why?

I would like to point out r6 is now out and the new features can be seen on the first post as always. ;) Enjoy!


Edit- One more thing i would like to point out! In r6 it has the ability to adjust how many graphics load on each tab. Therefore if its eating up a lot of your computers memory reduce the amount of graphics it loads, but you just have to deal with not being able to use those graphics which weren't loaded.

it is on properties. you have to know the sfx id to type it there. Btw can i put more than one sounds effect on one map? for example wind and waterfall. And how can i do that?

Deathx on config.ini you can set the max number of graphics, That means you can add more walls, tiles objects etc and editor will load them on start? I mean not to replace, but add.
