It might be worth adding an option to change the first NPC spawns to spawn duration elapsed rather than immediately for various reasons such as death trapped by NPCs or unwanted early boss respawns.

If anyone wants to disable immediate NPC spawns at start up for now simply comment or remove newnpc->Spawn(); within the Map::Load() function in map.cpp.
