Well seeing as some people here decide to virtually only come to troll, perhaps adding in an ignore list for whoever wishes to use it might be an alright idea. I for one dislike reading garbage that piles up from feuds between users, and would be an advocate in having the ability to, at will, place them on such a list.

I rather the EOSERV administration add a "fast-act support system" to get illiterate kids off the forum. Although, that's just my hopeful foresight for this forum.

That is a good idea Palmolein, but Sausage already said that due to the other moderators and himself usually being busy with real life, that a system like that would be utterly useless. I believe that if an ignore list of sorts were added, all of the problematic users would eventually give up their attempts due to not having the ability to successfully create a battle-ground with another user that they currently feud with.

I think this idea would be quite useful.

Users are ignorant, and will usually, derp, ignore the ignore list.

It depends on the user, and a few people wouldn't mind using it. Who knows, maybe if such a gadget was actually made for the forum, people would legitimately use it.

This is kinda a dumb idea, Because if you hated/wanted to ignore someone, You wouldn't want to ignore them because then you don't have a reason to ignore/hate them anymore, We all have a part that wants to see what idiots are saying, just so we can call them idiots.

A public forum is not "facebook". You don't have "friends" or "ignored" lists. It is open to all public responses. That is quite simply how all forums are designed. I venture to say this will become CLOSED and WONTFIX when Sausage gets around to it. Also, Buglist comments are not for opinionated chatter but rather informative input regarding the bug mentioned. Use the forum for opinionated discussions please.

This may be true to this forum, but PHPBB3 forums and other PHPBB forums have lists where you can add troublesome users if and when you decide that you've reached your peak with them. This doesn't have to be facebook, it can be a PHPBB forum if you wish, which was originally Sausage's idea right? Therefore, this option would work quite well with how many users have recently started up childish antics and garbage spouting posts. Also, isn't the intended purpose for Buglist comments to be about the specific bug or feature request and if it is valid or not? (Somewhat similar to what you've said.) It is about this, although a few people are creating it as if it were a lounge post, so it still seems valid.
