It seems large pub files with a large amount of entries seem to get broken. Possible that other data becomes corrupt throughout the file as well.
Comments
Just an update on this. It seems the current build of EOSERV sends data a bit differently than older builds. These changes cause an inconsistency of receiving a pub file that results in corrupt files for users with wifi or poor connections to the internet. This can be reproduced, but not consistently. I managed to reproduce this on local wifi.
Sounds like just lag... Sucks that the client would write a partial file to disk though.
Been unable to get a reproduction or anything for a while. If anyone manages to get a corrupt pub file from EOSERV, would appreciate being sent it, as well as the original file to compare to.
This is a result of the Windows OS Virtual Store function when the client is written to a system folder and is somehow accessed via user and administrator modes which creates a conflict of data. Flagging as trivial.
