Randomly generated item buffs, derivitive of most rpg's. E.g. clever shortsword with +8 int, epic shortsword (70%) damage modifier.

Configurable via notepad.

"Buffing" an item independantly would require a decent amount of source code re-write. It is probably best to leave this to custom coding per operator.

I had started writing a script for this once apon a time and I had it about 50% done. I would like to see it added to the official software and will help if I can.

It's impossible since the client has to know about every item before-hand, and no item is unique from any other with the same ID. A serious change to how items work could allow items to have data associated with them, but it wouldn't be possible to have them not stack on top of each-other, or show to the client the special properties of an item.

Also, adding extra novelty features isn't a goal of EOSERV.
