Lock the client walk/attack/spell/item/clickplayer/clicknpc functions.
Pretty much everything but chat is locked.

I was wondering if its possible to make the player unmovable client-side as well so they won't be trying to move only to be pushed back by refreshing. I remember seeing something similar on Ananas server when a person got handcuffed.

Yes. Freeze and Unfreeze is part of the official protocol.
