Forum :: Seose :: Skill Points, Eva, and Def not working.

Doesn't allow you to raise the skill of a spell, and the con and def stats don't effect anything, not sure if you attempted to fix this or not in the last version.

It worked in v2.6..Sordie said something about a stat calculation or something. You should go to the official topic and read more on it :D*Ima do the same*

From what I know, she hadn't implemented skill points yet because in main they do absolutely nothing. Contrary to other's beliefs, they don't.

The Eva, Def, etc etc, from what I realized. Certain things do not work with extras, as I witnessed on my server the original command under warrior was:

HP = 10 + (con * 3) + $level + $str

I had to delete everything other then the "con * 3" to make it work. I don't really understand why. but meh, it doesn't bother me too much.

Use version 2.7 of SEOSE. And you you can edit your stats form their. Because in 2.7, you will get a new class.xini, and that is whats compatible with 2.7... In other words...you old Class file will not work with the newer Seose.-Debug

I am using the new class.xini files. >.>

Edit: Are def and eva working for some people? When I say working, I meant the effect of the stat, not the stat itself.

take away the 10+ or whatever the number is leave the bit that says something like *(con)*  (i cant see it cus im on a different comp) do this to all of them and it should work fine.

You guys are still misunderstanding me.

Say if an armor gives you 50 def, it in no way affects how much damage is done on you when an npc/player attacks you.

oh right, try editing with a pub editor.

That has nothing to do with it.

The actually DEF itself shows up. Like for example, I give elder robes 100 def. It shows that I now have +100 def. But the stat itself does nothing.

maybe something is corrupt with the PUB files and it has messed up everything. if not then hopefully someone more experienced than me with Seose can help.

no defense and eva and acc are not working yet. i would know because my admins usually have over 20k def and the monsters still hit its average 300s+. I hope sordie adds that in her next release.
