Forum :: Seose :: how do i change a players name?

i wanna know this cuz z bunch of players on my serv wanna change thier chracter name.

i don't think it's possible within Seose, i could stand corrected though.

it can be done on eoserv using either the database or the player name change command.

But i really don't think it's possible within seose.

Ok you can change a players name in seose but first goto ur charecters folder and find that persons name and change it to what they want.

Then goto your accounts folder and change it to the same exact name that u put for tghe char folder.

Some things might not be supported

Users > Characters > rename the file with the new name and it will be changed.

Yes, He is correct. If you try to change a name using "-" for example. You will have to change it by the account info also...Or., You will get a packet error for that account "Packet error 4-1'i believe..Stating that their is an illegal account transaction going on... -Debug

first go into your Users then go into characters then find that persons name and change it to what ever make sure the xini does not get removed then it should look like this "example.xini" then save it then go to accounts and find the players account file go into that file and scroll to the bottom it should look like this: im using my account so all the info will be like this ***

then where is says [character] perfect-r your gonna put your name you put on that file in the characters  then save it and your finished i hope this helped :)
