I know this isn't much to do with editing yet but I have made this application to test opening of *.EGF format and display the bitmaps.

If you require the source code I will email it to you.

All you need to do is un-zip the archive, copy the GFX from the Endess Online client gfx directory and away you go.

I will now get back to attempting to make a map editor.

Thanks to Sordie for giving me information on LoadLibrary and LoadBitmap. It was hard at first but now I should be-able to convert what I have into C++ and use Allegro or SDL

I'm obsessed with EO full stop :)

Glad to have given you an idea, Im struggling with reading bytes in VB atm lol... Give me time and I'll work it out, Google is by best friend.

Cool, but you shoud change the background, becouse it is hard to see some dark tiles.

To what Blue? Theres no point really, this is just a test of me extracting Bitmaps from resource files.
