A problem that is reoccuring basically causes the pub edit to glitch the value 127, this number is consistantly read and rewritten as 255. Cases: yellow sandals inventory icon 127 becomes 255 when pub edit reads, will not save 127 back without glitching, also same result with Shaman in the npc edit, 127 becomes 255. Thought that might help hint to the problems with pub files corrupting.

Hah, she once told me that was part of the packet encryption/decryption, but I think she's wrong about that.
