Ok, i will let you see my Seose.xini file:
[game]
{
Name = "~Angelic Online~" /* The name of your server*/
URL = "http://angelic-online.myv.nl/" /* The website for your server */
IP = "angeliconline.no-ip.org " /* The domain name of your server */
Port = 0 /* The external port of your server (0=auto)*/
This is right i think xD
And i portforwarded too
Whats the problem then D:
I have made a account at No-IP called angeliconline.no-ip.org
I tested if it worked on another laptop and it says cannot find the server or something like that.
You have an extra space after your IP. Not sure that has anything to do with it... Start your server and I'll test it.
Okay i removed the extra space ^^ you can try it now i think.
The server is on :P
But i just only needed to register and make a host on no-ip.com?
Or do i needed to do more then that?
And tada! It's online.

Okay. My PortForwarding isnt woking. I've followed everything i needed to do.
Custom Service Name - Endless Online
Global Port Range 8078 - 8078
Base Host Port - 8078
Protocol - TCP
My Router doesnt ask me for a local IP. If your Wondering why i added a custom service, its because endless online isnt on the list of programs for my router found at Portforward.com.
I Enabled the Service Inside my router and Restarted it to make sure it worked properly.
Then i went and added a NO-IP free host, this is what my host was
Host name: Enhanced-eo.no-ip.org
Host Type: DNS Host (A)
IP Address: 86.42.210.147
Assign To Group:
No Group
I Click Save Host and went into my NO-IP Dyanamic Update Client (DUC), And Updated my Host, It told me the update was successful.
So i went into SEOSE.XINI, Enabled SLN, Configured it that way it should be
Name="Enhanced-EO" /*The Name of your Server*/
URL="http://soride.com/" /*The Website of your server*/ (Wasn't supposed to come out as a link >.<)
IP="Enhanced-eo.no-ip.org" /*The Domain Name of your Server*/
Port="0" /*The External port of your server (0=Auto)*/
I saved, and Rebooted my Server, During SLN check it said something like this
Error your host parameter does not point to your ip host has been changed to (Then it gave me an IP, i cant remember, but i'll try to get a screenshot)
I went to SEOSE.XINI and i tried changing the host to the one it was supposedly changed to, when i rebooted my serv, it didnt give me the above error anymore, but the normal SLN error you get when your server is not portforwarded
I then used Portforward.com's Port checker, It said that my port was not open or unreachable, i also made sure that the program Endless Online (The custom service i created) had access through my firewall on port 8078, even though my firewall was switched off all the time
Reading this topic, makes me sound like the stupidest person on the forums, but honestly, i've tried everything i could to get this to work, all the settings i got are the ones i followed from PortForward.com
What is the make and model of your router?
Take a snapshot of your portforwarding page on the router and upload to imageshack and give me the link.
Here is what my router page looks like when im creating my custom service for EO
Here Is what the Service looks like enabled, inside my router.
My Router Module is a Netopia 2247NWG-VGx, And i followed This Default guide on PortForward.com
I also have a Static IP, So during the custom Setup i may have needed to setup a Static NAT, I also have hamachi installed so people can go onto my server, but its only private for like 3 or 4, so that could be a problem, although i un-installed that program, the first time i started

I had the same problem along time ago i could not connect on one of my laptops using the no-ip but i could connect using the actual # ip...However it doesnt mean your no-ip isnt working. Try going to sordie.co.uk and entering your no-ip and if it works then you are all good.

I used angeliconline.no-ip.org. It works for me. If that laptop was on the same network it could be a routing problem. Just use the local IP instead.

Is your computers name `client-pc`? If not that's why, but you may also need open the ports on a software firewall. Otherwise it seems your router is borked with portforwarding.

Please do as Gareth suggested below. The same companies interfaces usually are the same. Maybe a different color, but the same layout. Just do as it says using the information I posted on the first post.

Post another topic about it. It doesn't directly have to do with this.

Hm. Yes my Computers name is Client-pc, If that needs changing i can do that, And also when you say i may need to open the ports in my firewall, do you mean something like this
Windows firewall -> Programs -> Add a program Exception -> Program name: Endless Online Port 8078 -> "Ok".
do you ean something like that, or anything along those lines
Im attempting to forward again only this tme without a NO-IP duc, and i can use my own IP in its place, as im sure thats possible
