A little overkill for an EO server. The tiny amount of bandwidth used by EOServ with about 30 connections could be done on dialup =P.

If you just want a simple 24/7 EO server you could just compile EOServ for a $50 Raspberry pi and leave it plugged into your home router.

yeah and then get your home internet Ddos'd by self important man children who want to be an Admin on your server for no reason or if you deny them free items.putting your server on a vps behind a ddos protection suite and port clogging reverse tracking is never a bad idea especially if the person doing the Dosing gets caught by the VPS service
