Well, I want to add quests to my Server, I'm wandering if this is possible.  If so please tell me the steps to adding quests.

Thanks :] </3

Unfortunately, you cant add quests with Seose because its a closed source. But if you can figure out a clever way to make them, like a set of maps with NPC's telling you what to do with the seose vocab. But otherwise you'll have to switch to EOSERV if you want quests.

Good Luck

I could do all of that the only problem I would have is having the npc distribute the money once the quest has been completed.

Well, what you could do is make bad guy NPC's on each map, and a player has to pick up 1 of each of their misc items e.g a spider is a bad guy npc, he drops spider legs. The player has to pick up 1 spider leg, and you do that so on and so forth with different bad guy npc's on each map. Then thefinal npc on the last map that gives out the gold, you can make him a craft shop. So you have to give in all the misc items e.g spider legs. And he would craft those ingredients into the specified amount of gold that you want for the quests.

EDIT: Tyler, come on msn i just added you, i will help you out some more.

Seriously, Seose is a dead project. If you want more features and you haven't already switched to EOSERV, then you should seriously get on board. If your thinking is "I can't compile EOSERV" or "I don't know how to set up the database" then don't worry. I have a compiled revision dubbed "Vodka" that includes nearly every single working feature of EO main. I also included an empty Sqlite database file so you will only need to install "Sqliteman" to edit the data. Aside from setting up some info in the config.ini for EOSERV, Vodka will work right out of the box, and also includes a nifty restart.bat file to keep your server running 24/7. EOSERV is the only format with at least community driven server updates. I would move on if I were you.

Lol at that ^^ And Bro, Just so you know I used eoserv. I had everything working just fine. I was looking for a coder, Then I finnally found one I thought I had been one lucky person. Turns out I was incorrect he totally messed up all of my files and left my server. so I've moven to seose just for a bit -> I'll be moving back to Eoserv soon probably -> This is getting offtopic. Lolol

i started with seose too. but when i saw no point play a game without quests i tried eoserv. I am good on graphics not on coding so i choosed vodka, cause is the most stable server that time by my opinion. I think about it and said to my self. What is most importand to a game? the pets, the fishing, mining etc, or the quests? Well the story of the server is that make the server unique. So i suggest all players move to eoserv to a working compiled version. I just wontering... why sordie made achivements for seose and not quests?

Not to continue the off topicness, but i belive sordie finished the prodcution of her server before anyone was able to make a stable quests system.

Don't quote me though, just my thoughts on the matter, Also, acheivments would be ALOT easier that quests :)
