Go to No-ip.com and make sure that the ip address there is the same as the one your computer has.

"SLN: 300 Change Parameter host 68.119.217.87 The host you specified does not resolvetoyour IP address" - This means that your computer's IP address is not the same as the "Host's" ip address and the "Host" is your no-ip. So we have to go in and change the settings on your no-ip to match your computer. So I'll try to explain what you have to do step by step ... - Find your computer's IP address. (It should be numbers for example "192.168.1.1") If you don't know how to do this go here and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says "Your external IP Address is..." - Go to No-ip.com and log in - Click "Hosts/Redirects" on the green band that goes accross the top of the page. - You said that you made "Everlastingeo.no-ip.org" already, so that should be in the list on that page. Click "Modify" next to it. - In the settings that you now see, look for "IP Address". - Check that IP and match it to the one your computer has. If they are different, then type the one your computer has into the no-ip settings and then click "Update". That should be all you have to do to get it working. If not let me know and I'll help you out the best I can. By the way, did you set up a static IP address? if not you'll want to do that here so you don't have to keep changing you no-ip.com settings. I'm pretty sure you need to do this in order to portforward so you probably did do this. I'm just checking.

arna posted: (24th Sep 2010 10:52 pm)I just wanted to clarify that it wouldn't be like 192.168.1.1 as that is a local ip address. It would be more along the lines of 68.119.217.87 :P
Also isn't it easier to download no-ip DUC 3.0 so you
don't need to do it manually? Just my opinion.

lewis999 posted: (24th Sep 2010 11:02 pm)Your right about the ip thing. the local one was the only thing that popped into my head to use for an example ... it's been a long day. I didn't know there was a no-ip DUC 3.0. That would have saved me a lot of annoying setting changes since I changed between 2 different houses changing my ip every time. The way I explained above is the only way that I knew how to do it. So Greatveddar I guess you can just download this
if it's easier for you.
