i want to compress my gfx's someone knows a good file compresser
and a icon changer because i tried many but you have to pay
and some times the exe won't work anymore after i changed it 
so anyone knows a  good file compresser / icon changer? so yes

I would advise against gfx compression, it's rather pointless. It takes up more resources, and with time, the "protection" can be broken easily.

alright thanks. yes it could be broken easily but not all people know how
so if it's a bit protected it's good enough for me ^^

Compressing gfx files is pointless. every compressor pus ts decompression code to main dll function, and egf is a normal dll with changed extension. So to decompress it you must call dllmain and then dump its memory image to file.

I have also had problems where i could no longer see the graphics after compressing them. I think this was because the emulator could not load them due to the compression.

Wrong, you must delete the non .egf in the GFX folder.

That'll fix your problem.

[Change icon]
      Just use reshacker to change the icon, open the exe. file lol and if is compressed i dont think Fe is, so change the icon,and replace the info,

[To make a icon]
     Just open mspaint make something or copy and paste some image, change to anything u want replace "name" Save as [name.ico]

[Compresser]
google one on google, some might need to be run in Cmd commands. And asking for a compresser puts u in risk, like saying u'll try it and it works and you'll use, well no point in being protected if they know what u use.

     I also belive for the client version checker , is depends on the info also, xD not an expert but i believe that where it reads it, like the product version 0.0.0.27, just change that and enable the client version checker on config if ur using eoserv, [Only eoserv] i believe
