Forum :: Client Editing :: I need basic map editing help!!

I've searched the forums for hours and cannot find any help or guides on basic map editing. I have a few questions. How do I remove an object from a map in the editor? How exactly to I make a warp? What is an NPC wall? Also, If anyone knows of a detailed map editing guide sonewhere can you please post a link here. Thanks guys, and sorry if this a topic already covered, but I've been having a lot of trouble finding answers.

Thanks for the link to that tutorial scott! But I still havent figured out how to remove an object on the map, or how to set a warp.

click the objects tab and then right click the object you're wanting to remove and for warps, click the specials tab, left click where you want the warp and set the location :)

Awesome, im starting to understand this a little better. Although theres several things I still can't figure out. How do I set where a character spawns when they log in for the first time? and how can I make a character become a "citizen" of a town so the always spawn to a certain town when the die?

That depends on which emulator you are using. Ask in the emulators forum section for that question.
