Forum :: Client Editing :: New Weapon makes me invisible

I added a new weapon to my server but I have a problem. I finally got the inventory and ground views working but if I equip the item my character goes invisible. I deleted the character, made a new 1 and tried using that character and the same thing happens. I searched the forums and I haven't found an answer to this. Once I get this working on my server I said I was going to let you guys upload it into your servers in the artists forum but I can't figure out how to get this new weapon to work correctly.

Also when I try to attack when I'm invisible I can only hit once and then it doesnt let me attack any more. So you smart guys out there can you figure out the problem. Much appreciated.

Save every frame of weapon as 24 bit bitmap.

I did. I added new gfx files and they are numbered 7501-7517. I put the GFX file for the weapon data to 75 if that matters.

Did you update the GFX in client?

Make sure you've updated the male / female GFX's i had the same problem with hats. There's 2 GFX files for weapons. One's male, One's female. Try changing the sex of your character see if it appears then :) and if that works just copy the GFX to the file that corresponds with the sex that you are.

Because GFX 17 and 18 correspond to the two sexes. So if you just duplicate the GFX you're editing for example 17 just copy and paste it and rename it GFX 18 like 17 is...

Edit: Oh nice thanks for the help. Didn't know I had to add to gfx 17 and gfx 18. Now I can let you guys upload it. Just need to figure out how to do that. lol
