Re: How do i pick where i want a npc to be on my map
you need to edit your maps with Mapedit Alpha 5 wich can be found on Eoserv > download > Tools
Instead of a GUI like Alpha 7 , Alpha 5 is just the data, so find the coords on the map you want the npc to spawn..
Example map 1 15x25
Open alpha 5, Open map 1, select Npc spawn editor
Now input the npc id and coords, Param is respawn time i think tho its kinda irellavant on seose, Range is the npc speed (1 being fast 6 being slow) Count is how many of that npc to spawn at that coord.
To make your new npc not be able to move, open the map again with Alpha 7, now click the "Special" tab, select NPC wall, and make a 4x4 block over the npcs spawn, they will spawn in and not have a tile to move to.
Save the map and mutate, or reload

That's the difficult way of doing it, the easiest way to do it is make the range of the monster or npc "7". This makes it completely frozen still. Set the parameter as either 1, 2, 3, or 4. This will determine which way the npc is facing. ---Ashley =]
