Forum :: EOSERV :: Yet another problem.. wtf??? Disappearing items!

3+ people on my server (me included) have randomly lost a gun while playing on my server (eoserv)

It is a new server and I have no idea why items keep just disappearing, considering that the only item that keeps going missing is a really hard one toget

anyone know why this would be happening?

EDIT: Only lore items that are NOT on the player's paperdoll get glitched and disappear, and that happens when they die in PK.

I think most of your problems are coming from your conversion from SEOSE to EOserv since from what I saw you tried to be a little lazy with it. ;p

Honestly though, check your database, and see if those items are actually disappearing. I'm willing to bet database wise you have the items, just somewhere the pub's corrupt/not transferring. I've heard and witnessed that at times when you modify your server's pub files, you must transfer those new pub files manually to the client or else it bugs up.
