DDoS Stopper?

I don't know if this belongs here, in programming, or if it was found already by someone else.. or if it's already being used, but in case it hasen't been shown, i would try to be the first.

http://www.beethink.com/BeeGuardian/IPBlocker/IPBlocker.htm

Basically it blocks the Ip fully from any access or any contact with you. In fact if you block any Ip, then the Ip owner won't even be able to contact with you. So, you can now download this and put the server on SLN if you get any attack just simply put the ip here and your work is done :)

In all honesty i think this works 100%
I hope people use it to stop DDoS coming from Elefag, Ryan or any other grumpy asshole.

If this doesn't work or if it was already found and posted here then i am sorry. I hope people put this to great use. :)

Peace.

Firewalls don't typically avoid internet traffic. It just blocks it, and it has to receive it to block it. That software you mentioned is no different.

You were close...how about looking at the "anti-ddos" rather than the "ipblocker"...that's the anti-ddos I run on my windows server and have had no issues.

Couldn't they just simply change their IP? :/ I tried something similar to this before, and the DDoSer changed his IP.

No, only if they have an external IP. If their IP is static they can't change it, the ISP have to do that for them, which is VERY rare.
It happened to me 2 times, and I have had this router for 3 years.
If there IP is external, they may change it as they want.

Lolss is right they can just proxy and bypass. Eventually they might get tired, not much else to say.

This does nothing more than IPSec does... and If you use Windows then you already have IPSec built in. As much as I like to troll on Microsoft there is very few 3rd party security software that you need now.

IPSec - Build into Windows and will bascally do what IPTables does on Linux
Windows Firewall - Will work with IPSec and UAC to help you configure basic options
Windows Defender - Keeps your system files happy although has quite a few annoying features
MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) - Not installed by default but is basally a free antivirus app from Microsoft that honestly works better than most 3rd party ones do.

As far as DDoS is concerned then there is very little you can do on your computer to stop it. For a start, you most probably have a modem/router combo that gets downed by the attack before it can pass the traffic on to your computer. Contact your ISP. They have much better facilities to control the traffic to your computer and skilled staff that will give you much better advice than people on forums thinking installing software on your computer will stop it. XD

I have no idea what you guys are saying o.o

I just thought it was a good thing that I found this, and I'm glad I did, and all I want is for people to stop getting DDoSed, or for people to DDoS the FUCK out of Elefag. That's all I want.

Most likely he has a program on his vps running that is pinging your IP. It should be possible to get his ip, and report it to their ISP. They will probably shut it down.

Lolss is not right and you're not either, LOL. He asked if the person could CHANGE HIS IP, not using a proxy -.-.
I simply gave him an answer on if the person could change his IP. He mentioned NOTHING about proxies.
