| Charity Consultant Website
Hey guys, I thought I'd just share a project that I'm currently doing with you guys to get a wide range of feedback if possible. It's for my friends Dad that's given me the opportunity to design his website to a professional standard for his charity consultant business. The development location for the website can be found here: http://danscottnetwork.co.uk/clients/john-barwick/ Now as I'm aware there are some very talented web designers and developers in amongst this community and I trust your judgement so your opinions are well valued. Any suggestions, criticisms or improvements will be much appreciated but don't forget, compliments are welcome also ;) Some screenshots of the site as it stands can be seen below: Services Page

I don't have much time to reply to everything, but the main thing that bugs me is the flying down effect of the pictures. Let the pictures just be in the box and increase the scroll time by a second or two. Hope you get what box I'm talking about.

This one graphic/web designer I know was talking about how this one guy wanted the logo to be this bright green, with a light tan/yellow background and some other weird color. He did what the guy wanted but it was a waist of his talent. XDQuackers posted: (9th Mar 2012, 12:01 am) Anyways great job and as long as the customer is happy, that is what matters.

I don't think I could quite bring myself to make something that I personally think is hideous, even if the customer thinks it will look good. Originally John wanted his Profile page to be on the index until I was like, John.. No. You'll just have a page of textstaring the user in the face as soon as they enter your site, the index needs to be kept clean, simple and easy to navigate :P after that he was like yeah lets do that xD so I like to think I have some influence as to what happens with the design stages of things :) and thanks man! I try :) For anyone that's interested, the live site can be found here: http://johnbarwick.com
